Old Truck (935) is a stamp from Rubbernecker Stamps that I have had for a while. I have not gotten the chance to use it. I was inspired by the Birch Forest (66-01kk) stamp and the Freehand Scripture Set (902) that I am using together for this card.
Well as you can see I have a new look on the site. Sadly when the change happened all my content was deleted.
This ended up in a major sad face and a lot of crying. I know, I know most of you will say… why cry it was just a blog people are out there starving or dying from cancer. Yes, I know they are and I pray for them every day with my kids. But this was almost 4 years of my work, hard work, just gone… it is a sad heartbreak.
I envisioned fall leaves around the outside of the poem but then quickly realized just how big the poem was and how big my leaves where. So, I went ahead and made my card 5.5 x 5.5 so that we could still have room on the sides to see the great patterned paper in the background.
I have a hard time believing that I did not use any Copic markers on this card at all. I actually used an old ink pad that I had.
Don’t forget to go and see the rest of the teams creations over at the Rubbernecker blog as well! We will have challenges, contests, videos and lots of inspiration all week long! You can also catch us on Instagram and Pinterest!
I loved this little Pierrot Sprite the moment I saw him. Although, never got the time to color him. When Mitzi from
Aurora Wings hosted an Orange, Black and one other color challenge, I went directly to him. I could not wait to color this little Pierrot Sprite. The only other color I used besides black, white, and orange, was the pink for his cheeks.
This was such a fun challenge to do. I love the patterned paper behind him along with the beautiful black roses that have been dipped in autumn glitter. The nice thing about the glitter on the background paper is that it will not come off.
I also have put a bit of an embossed pattern on the orange paper as well.
Please be sure to check out the challenge and the current happenings over at Aurora Wings Challenge Blog! You can also see what the other team members made over there too! You don’t want to miss out on anything!

However, I learned that snow gives more of a blue glow. That is why I decided to use the BG000 and BG0000 on the bears. I also had to use the new Merry Christmas Frame (987) around the polar bears. they are just so darn cute.
I used some due drops and some self adhesive snowflakes to add to the card a little bit. The snow was the fun party though I Continue Reading
