I have another card for you today for The Paper Shelter’s Christmas challenge this week. I love all TPS (The Paper Shelter) images. This image is so very sweet. Heavenly Christmas Carol has to be one of the sweetest Christmas images they have. Granted they have some other great ones too but they are more “make you smile” kind of images, that I love.

Penguins Friends is a TPS (The Paper Shelter) stamp that I have had for a very long time. However, I have a bad habit of coloring things and just not putting them into a card until I need them. Well I got her all finished, looking beautiful for Christmas. That is this weeks challenge #275 over at the TPS blog. You should play along because you know that you could use some free stamps (yes that is the prize, as long as you use their stamps… which why wouldn’t you). Plus you know you are already working on Christmas cards anyway.

Aurora Wings Winter Wonderland Challenge using Winter Lullaby

It is time for another challenge over at the Aurora Wings Challenge blog. I loved this challenge because the theme is Winter Wonderland. Of course I decided to use Winter Lullaby, not because of the name, because of the owl. I love snowy owls. We actually have an owl living in our palm tree. It is Sweet Rubbernecker Sunday #23 for Team 2 on the Rubbernecker Stamps design team. I have decided to use Watercolor Wreath (976) for my inspiration today. Yes, it doesn’t look very watercolored does it? I am still trying to practice with that part. So, I decided to color it instead because I really had my heart set on using this stamp today. Honestly, I think I did much better at coloring it with my Copics rather than using the watercolor. I am a bit jealous of my team mates that can do watercolor like they were just born with it. I love their talent.
